In an ever evolving industry there is always something that pushes contractors and inspectors to take the next step into new technology and innovation. During this current Covid-19 outbreak, the desire to still be able to perform proper inspections, evaluations, and proposals with minimal personal interaction has become top priority. Some companies are built for this type of situation, while others may have been behind in updating to new age technology.
For the customers of Great Roofing and Restoration’s benefits, we have constantly been updating our processes and procedures to not only allow for safer inspections when it comes to being physically on the roof, but also inspections and reports that are more consumer friendly. We have already been performing automated drone inspections in the field before this type of a situation came about. Our drones allow us to do full roof inspections, with 4K photographs, all from the comfort of our tailgate. These drones not only have damage detection for storm peril, but also will create a measurement and 3D model of the roof itself.
Adding this report to our integrated CRM, we are able to provide the customer with a portal link that will allow them to see these reports along with any proposals needed for repair. All this happens from their home computer, tablet, or smart phone. This technology allows us to maintain social distance, while still providing accurate information to our customers.

A few weeks ago we had a roof leak that prompted our call for a professional. Eli Harris and Noah were tremendous. When... Eli inspected of our roof we came to discover some defects with our shingles. Instead of just telling us we were stuck, Eli did all he could to see if we had any options with the manufacturer for a replacement. As part of the service we were assured that they would also repair the leak so we were all set in the interim. Noah came to assess the issue in person while Eli reached out to the manufacturer on our behalf. Regrettably, it turns out that we were not under warranty but they held to their promise of fixing the roof which was done a week later. They also did all they could to make sure that our costs were as low as possible. Noah spent 6 hours pulling up shingles, installing flashing and re-shingling. They very well could have just avoided doing the repair knowing that a whole roof wasn't in the works but instead held to their word. Needless to say, even with all the challenges that we found about the state our roof, we are happy to know that the leak has been addressed. The hard work, communication and (most importantly) integrity shown by these two young men is impressive. We will be waiting on our new roof for now, but will certainly keep Great Roofing and Restoration on the radar when it comes time to have it done.read more
